Young Money threw Lil Wayne a huge “Going Away Party” last night at Dolce in Miami. Wayne was arrested in 2007 on gun charges. He will be sentenced Tuesday 2/9/20100 and is expected to begin his jail sentence at Rikers Island immediately afterwards. He definitely went out with a bang, wonder what they’re gonna do when he is released!?! See more pictures from the party below.

“I don’t think there will be anybody like Lil Wayne ever again in hip-hop. He paralyzes a room when he walks into it, his wordplay, the excitement that he brings to his music. I think that for eight months a lot of us will have to work a lot harder to keep hip-hop as exciting as it’s been for the last two years. He’s a strong-willed guy. I can imagine it would take a toll on anybody. I just hope that he comes out for the better.”
